Inspiration comes in various forms. It is in the eye of a young elephant, the blur of a cheetah caught in headlights, the stare of a Cape buffalo.
Inspiration is in the petals of a flower, the vibrance of its pollen and in the symmetry of an orchid.
Inspiration is in the sky reflecting on water, the vapor trail drawing a white line across the sky, in light painting patterns on a Cathedral floor.
Inspiration is in the visual clues and cues, it is in lines and shapes that draw our eyes to a destination. Inspiration is all around us.
For me, inspiration is to look, to see, to translate and to return to a moment in time and share with you what I saw, what I experienced and what I felt. These images are my interpretation of taking the familiar, exploring it’s details, presenting it with a passion that captures the heart, soul and mind so you see it again as though for the first time.
The images in the collection span a period from 2005 to present day. A variety of cameras were used, all digital. The images were imported into my Mac using Adobe Lightroom. Some started life as color images and then graduated to Black and White, others were enhanced, cropped and cleaned up. All images are original – there are no two different photos combined into one image. Every print is printed on archival quality paper using an Epson Stylus Pro printer.
All photos are available for purchase and can be printed in a variety of sizes. Framing options can be arranged on request.
